Cause

The Near North Palliative Care Network (NNPCN) is the HPCO Accredited visiting hospice for the Nipissing-Parry Sound region. The NNPCN has provided the community free palliative, caregiving respite, and bereavement services for the last 35 years. We train volunteers to assist palliative clients in their own homes, preventing them from having to leave the comfort of their bed and allowing their caregiver respite. Grief counseling and psychosocial support educates and heals those with complex grief or who might be expecting to mourn. With support, we hope to assist and prepare the public to care for our increasing vulnerable sector.
